Your new heirloom.
One-of-a-kind clothing created in London from vintage garments + antique textiles.
The U.S. military perfected the field jacket in 1965, designed for comfort and efficiency, hence the name “M65”.
Each Coverlette piece is unique, and can be made-to-order. Crafted using only dead-stock military garments and selecting the coverlet panels from salvaged material. New and beautiful, the pieces are reconstructed for positive change.
Jacquard materials were the first foray into programmed automation. Punch-card and ‘reader’ devices were introduced to America in 1824 and added to the hand loom, allowing for elaborate patterns and designs.
The craftsmanship and creativity that went into the antique textiles should be worn and enjoyed, rather than stored away or forgotten. Every single piece is individually designed and hand-made.
Each piece is entirely unique. Hand-cut and sewn combining loom-woven antique jacquard textiles from the 19th century and vintage military garments.
